About the Artist:
Kayomi Hurai has developed her own detailed style of painting using watercolor, pastels and color pencils.  She has a unique way of capturing the personalities of the animals she illustrates.  Originally from Osaka, Japan, Kayomi currently resides in San Jose, California with her three feline assistants.
